Join the Norwalk Historical Society for the virtual lecture, "A Visit with Elsie Hill" with guest presenter, Dr. Darla Shaw - professor emeritus of education and women’s studies at WCSU.  

Dr. Shaw will bring suffragist and former Norwalk resident Elsie Hill to life. She will lead a lively discussion on Elsie’s early days in Norwalk, her tireless struggle for women’s suffrage as well as her efforts in shaping the Equal Rights Amendment with friend and colleague, Alice Paul. Historical photographs of Elsie Hill will help illustrate her remarkable story.  A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

Participants must register in advance for this virtual event. Registration closes at 4:30pm on Thurs.
