The Historic Daniel Boone Home and Heritage Center

The legendary frontiersman spent his last years in the peace and beauty along the Missouri River and died in the home of his son, Nathan. The four-story Georgian-style house is the centerpiece of Lindenwood University's Heritage Center. The attached village is comprised of more than a dozen historic buildings moved from the local area and includes buildings such as a school house, carpenter shop, general store, grist mill, and the Old Peace Chapel.
