Fort Scott National Historic Site
Fort Scott National Historic Site is a restored military fort of the Permanent Indian Frontier that interprets westward expansion, Bleeding Kansas and the Civil War. fort Scott is the venue of the annual Fort Scott Civil War Encampment held each April.
