Rook Higgins County Park
Rook Higgins County Park is the venue of the Tioga Mountain Men Winter Rendezvous. Across the road from the tidewater-influenced Millicoma River, the campground of Rook Higgins County Park spreads across a wooded flat at the foot of a forested slope. It offers a quiet, rustic camping experience. Fishing and drift boating or canoeing the sleepy Millicoma are common diversions. If you continue driving upstream past Allegany, you can visit Golden and Silver Falls State Park, with its pair of cool, shady waterfall glens.
