Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield

Consider the Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield if you are interested in preserving a piece of American as well as Monroe History. It’s also a great way to have some fun and educational things to do in your own backyard in the Monroe area. You don’t have to be a reenactor to become involved with the Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield, but if this sounds appealing to you, we can help. We have several different areas that you can fill in. We need volunteers to work with the children and the tours that come through the building and grounds. We need fundraisers and we can use some help with a couple of spruce up projects. And if you want to become a re-enactor and live the history, we can help you there too.

Friends of the River Raisin Battlefield meets the Third Sunday of the month, from September through May.
