BAAITS Powwow Committee
The BAAITS Powwow Committee organizes the annual BAAITS Two Spirit Powwow on behalf of Bay Area American Indians Two-Spirits (BAAITS). BAAITS exists to restore and recover the role of Two-Spirit people within the American Indian/First Nations community by creating a forum for the spiritual, cultural and artistic expression of Two-Spirit people.
We are the Bay Area American Indian Two Spirits, a community-based volunteer organization offering culturally relevant activities to LGBTIQ Native Americans, their families and friends. Some of our programs include: Community Gatherings, Drag Performances, Traditional Arts, Drumming, Educational Events, Pride Contingents.
