A globe can be a time capsule. Globes display the newest discoveries and reveal the thoughts and perceptions of a community at a specific moment in time.

Join us for a stimulating and participatory discussion, led by Ranger Chuck Arning of the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor and museum staff, on what a Smiths Terrestrial Globe, c. 1830-1850, can tell us about a community's past and perceptions of the world, and how we, in present day Worcester, define our community and the world we live in.
