South Dakota Humanities Council Speaker’s Bureau Scholar, Barbara Johnson, will discuss how stained glass windows are produced and the role of immigrants in designing, producing, and bringing to South Dakota these beautiful works of art. Johnson will talk about the Celtic knot window in the Historic Adams House dining room, and the connections with Chicago and the World's Fair: Columbian Exposition. She is also working with South Dakota Public Broadcasting to produce a documentary airing in early 2013. The public is encouraged to attend.
