Eliot formed many praying towns in the area –Natick being the first. He had great success until disaster struck.

Natick filmmaker Zadi Zokou will present the first 50 minutes of his documentary Praying Town and answer questions following the showing. Framingham History Center research volunteers will be available to answer questions related to the overlap with more local Native Americans as well. Praying Town was produced with the support of the Natick Historical Society and Museum, the Morse Institute Library and Natick Pegasus. Refreshments will be served.
