"Military Music of the Revolutionary War"

    Improve listing Presented by

Join Camp Flintlock's Tim and Adam for a one-of-a-kind examination of the music that filled the background of the American Revolution. The fifes and drums of the day did more than raise morale: they were a key means of communication both on and off the battlefield. Tim and Adam will bring their instruments, and perform the pieces they discuss. Suitable for all ages.

Tim and Renee Langdon started Camp Flintlock, Inc. in 1999. They conduct over 150 school field trips a year and run a summer daycamp at JLMH as well as in Four Oaks, teaching children and adults about the Colonial and Revolutionary War times.

Adam Young is an assistant Director at Camp Flintlock. He has been reenacting since he was a boy as well as working at State Parks and Camp Flintlock for 4 years.
