Ring in the season of goodwill by celebrating some of Fitchburg’s finest architecture with the Fitchburg Historical Society’s Holiday House Tour on Saturday, December 1st, from 11 am to 4 pm. Visitors will enjoy 13 beautiful buildings that introduce Fitchburg’s architectural heritage. Then, take a break and socialize in the tea room at the Fay Club. This is a self-directed tour: spend as much or as little time as you like in each building. Enjoy chatting with fellow visitors, in addition to learning more about the venues from Historical Society volunteers.

The Fitchburg Annual House tour is a fundraiser to support the exhibits and educational programs of the Fitchburg Historical Society, at 781 Main Street.

The money raised at the Annual Holiday House Tour provides support for educational programs such as school field trips, free history exhibitions and talks on local history at the Fitchburg Historical Society. In 2019, the Fitchburg Historical Society will create a new Master Plan for its headquarters on Main Street, marking a move forward in its role as a cultural leader for Fitchburg’s downtown.

Tickets are priced at $25 and can be purchased at the Fitchburg Historical Society, Boulder Art Gallery, Debonis & Davin Florist Shop, the Windmill Florist Shop, Mill No. 3, Elliott’s, Shacks, Slattery’s Restaurant, and the Mayor’s office.  The Historical Society will also be open from 10 – 4 on the day of the event selling tickets.
