Historic Lowry Walking Tour

The land that would become Lowry Air Force Base long focused on combat.  Once a "fortress of militant Christian education," then anti-tuberculosis battleground, then training ground and infant Air Force Academy, Lowry's many turns at reinventing itself didn't end with its decommissioning.  Join historian Chuck Woodward as he explains how old Lowry still beckons with signs of its soldierly past even as houses now do the marching toward the horizon.  We think Francis Lowry would be pleased!
