Got old paper artifacts? Want to know how clean and care for them...how to make them survive another century - or decade? The City of Bowie Museums invites you to attend Collector's Corner on May 12 at 2 p.m. to learn how to clean and preserve your precious bits of paper! Professional conservators from the Maryland State Archives and the Folger Library will share hints, advice and counsel on caring for paper ephemera, prints, and documents. Feel free to bring your paper objects to share and troubleshoot.

We will discuss paper-making processes, identification, proper handling, care, processing, and storage.

Participants are welcome to bring artifacts to share with the group.

Please RSVP to sdorsey@cityofbowie.org or 301.809.3097 by May 9th.
