Celebrating American Presidents

The Dedham Historical Society & Museum in conjunction with the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds is pleased to announce a collaborative new exhibit on display at the Dedham Historical Society & Museum, opening on Presidents’ Day, Monday February 18, 2019. This exhibit will be on view at the Society through March.

The exhibit will feature documents signed by American presidents with ties to Dedham and Norfolk County, from the founding of the United States through the 20th century. Additionally, birth certificates of four American presidents will be on view: John Adams, John Quincy Adams, John F. Kennedy, and George Herbert Walker Bush (these are copies or official duplicates). Visitors will also have access to hands-on materials copied from the Registry. Come see and touch the history of the American presidents from your hometowns. Special opening hours on Monday February 18th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Dedham Historical Society & Museum is open Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month from 11:00-2:00!
