Special Event:  Essex National Heritage Area Trails & Sails Program

Join the Park Interpreter for a FREE program.  Before Bradley Webster Palmer occupied the property that became a State Park, it was the Lamson Family farm for over 200 years. The farmhouse  is now a private home in the care of its resident Curators, through the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Historic Curatorship Program.  Take a stroll to see features of the farm that survive in the Park. This is a rare opportunity to see the first-floor interior of the Lamson Farmhouse, (ca. 1750-Present)!

Part of the hike is not accessible to persons with limited mobility, wheelchairs, or strollers.  Reasonable accommodations available upon advance request.  Inclement weather cancels the outdoor portion of the program.  Adults will especially enjoy this tour.
