The 1918 flu pandemic killed nearly 100 million people worldwide in less than a year, and disproportionately ravaged healthy young adults. Lori Lyn Price reviews the devastating effects of the epidemic on Boston and two suburbs. She will also discuss some sources to use to research the epidemic's effect on your relatives and their community, such as newspapers, municipal records, annual reports, and hospital records. This talk is part of the BPL's Local and Family History Lecture Series.
