Annual Model Train Festival
December 21-January 1
10am-5pm daily, except December 24 (closing at 1pm) and December 25 (closed)
Celebrate the season with the sights and sounds of model train displays that will transport you back to the days when the iron horse was king. From scaled-down steam engines weighing half a ton to people no bigger than a fingernail, the model railroad displays throughout the History Museum will entertain and delight you. The Puget Sound Model Railroad Engineers will be on hand to operate their masterpiece--the largest permanent model railroad layout in the state.
Santa Claus will be joining the Model Train Festival for pictures with your family from 11am-3pm on December 21, 22, and 23.
Print your own Model Train Festival flyer and post it at your school, church, favorite store, or place of employment!
