Re-enactors will portray military units dating from the Spanish era, Mormon Battalion, Civil War, and Indian Wars.  The 4th Cavalry Regimental Band and Ft. Huachuca 62nd Army Band will entertain visitors with 1800s music.  There will be displays and demonstrations depicting the feeding of the troops throughout history and much more.

The new exhibit at Ft.LowellMuseum, made possible through a generous donation from National Daughters of the American Revolution and Arizona State Daughters of the American Revolution, will be open to the public April 5, 2014.  The exhibit shows the food and dining of the enlisted men, which was quite different from the food and dining of the officers.  The Indian Scouts, while being issued regular rations, also made use of the native foods their wives gathered and cooked for them.
