33rd Annual Gingerbread Gallery

The Erie Canal Museum’s annual Gingerbread Gallery started in 1986 as a one-day gingerbread auction. Its popularity has increased over the years, and it is now a six-week long event featuring over 30 gingerbread creations made by local bakers of all ages! Everyone is invited to participate in the Gingerbread Gallery.

 

Open Daily from 10AM – 5PM 
(10AM – 2PM on December 24 and 31, CLOSED December 25 and January 1) 
$2 for children, $5 for seniors, and $7 for adults

 

Grand Opening on Friday, November 23 from 5 – 9 PM 
Cookies and cocoa all night and live music from Merry Mischief following the tree lighting in Clinton Square.

 

Children’s Gingerbread House Workshops 
Sat., December 8 & Thur., December 27 at 11 AM & 1 PM 
After being inspired by the creations in the Gingerbread Gallery, children can create their own house to take home using milk cartons, graham crackers, icing and a vast array of decorative edibles. 
Pre-registration is required. Registration is $8/child and FREE for accompany adults for Members and $12/child and $5/accompanying adult for the General Public. Members should call (315)471-0593 to receive the Member discount when registering.

 

Gingerbread Build + Sip 
Thursday, December 13 at 5 – 6:30 PM & 7-8:30 PM 
Join us in the Gingerbread Gallery provides to build your own house using graham crackers and a variety of edible decorations (milk cartons are optional) while sipping on a tasty beverage from our cash bar while listening to festive music with friends. This fun program is back by popular demand and is open to ages 21 and over. Admission is $10 for Museum members and $12 for the general public. Tickets are available here for two sessions: 5:00 – 6:30 PM and 7:00 – 8:30 PM.
