The president who changed his name. Born Leslie Lynch King Jr., on July 14, 1913, at Omaha, Nebraskan, Gerald Rudolph Ford became the nation's 38th President. To find out more about the life of the young President Ford, the Ford Birthsite and Gardens had been set up in his memory.
