I'm a freelance Portrait Artist working out of my home studio in the upstate of South Carolina. I paint both contemporary and historic portraits, my historic portraits are primarily representative of the American Revolution and American Civil War eras. I also paint ancestral portraits of people both known and unknown. One area of my interest is the local Battle of Kings Mountain and painting local and national individuals who fought in the conflict.

I staged an exhibition and sale of 18 of my Revolutionary War portraits for the month of July at the Rotunda Gallery, located within the City Hall complex in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I've put a small sampling of my exhibit here, including the announcement postcard. Two retrospective exhibits of my work will be held locally in 2014, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. I'm a member of the Yorkville Artists Guild, the Arts Council of York County, a Sentinel of the Fort at Fort Dobbs, NC, and a member of the South Carolina Historical Society.
