The Mt Pleasant High School in San Jose, California hosts the annual Gwen Steirer New Years Eve Powwow on December 31. The event is sponsored by the American Indian Alliance, a community based, non-profit organization serving more than 20,000 American Indians living in Santa Clara Valley.
