Military History Fest (formerly Reenactor Fest) is the world’s first and only indoor convention for historical reenactors, costumers, craftsmen, collectors, scholars and history enthusiasts in general! Each year, the Military History Fest in Chicago puts on an amazing event that attracts both history buffs and admirers of military customs and culture. It features dozens of professional reenactments as well as exhibits of memorabilia and artifacts representing the development of militaries worldwide, from the Roman Empire up to the present day. Festivalgoers can also enjoy military demonstrations, live music, seminars and lectures, historical dance classes and several cultural activities for budding historians of all ages. Plus, revelers can dress in their finest historical costumes and boogie the night away at the annual Reenactor’s Ball.
