Les Amis du Fort de Chartres
Les Amis du Fort de Chartres “Friends of the Fort” is a group of volunteers dedicated to Fort de Chartres State Historic Site.
Les Amis meets at the Fort de Chartres State Historic Site on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 3:00 PM. Membership is open anyone, and anyone who would like to help or get involved is welcome to volunteer.
Some of the past projects that Les Amis has done for the fort has been helping to rebuild the bread oven, volunteering at kids day, helping at registration, making the fort a stop on the Prairie du Rocher Chamber Christmas tour.
Les Amis du Fort de Chartres is looking forward to the continued support of the local communities involvement and support of our precious historical site.
