Founded in 1987, the Jamaica Plain Historical Society strives to highlight the rich and vibrant history of the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. We have an extensive website at www.jphs.org. The JPHS sponsors monthly lectures & events from October through April and a regular weekly series of historic walking tours from mid-May through the end of September. The archives of the JPHS are housed at UMass Boston. We welcome contributions of photographs and historic essays about Jamaica Plain. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
