Fort Dobbs State Historic Site is North Carolina’s only French and Indian War site and one of only a few sites nationally that actively interprets this period of history. It is a period that defined the fate of North America and sowed the seeds of independence. Our exhibitions, educational programs, preservation and reconstruction projects, research, public outreach efforts and publication needs are met and made possible only through the generosity of contributors like you to the Friends of Fort Dobbs. These gifts fulfill our mission to preserve and interpret North Carolina’s only French and Indian War fort and support the goals set forth in Fort Dobbs’ Strategic Plan (2008).

Your continued support of Fort Dobbs will ensure that the experience of this extraordinary 18th Century legacy will be alive and well for generations to come. Friends of Fort Dobbs is a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports the Fort Dobbs State Historic Site through memberships and donations. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
