Corndodger Station
Corndodger Station is the club site of Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders and is the home of the biggest and best 3-day rendezvous in the state of Kansas. Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders, Inc. was founded in 1980 and has developed one of the nicest camp sites in the region.
In the winter of 1996 a small group of guys from Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders cleared out a rough piece of ground along Corndodger Creek to hold the 16th Annual Frozen Butt Rendezvous. Since then this chunk of ground has grown into one of the nicest camp sites in the region and home to the biggest rendezvous in the State of Kansas. Add this growth in popularity with its ‘Pre-1840 Fur Trade” historical value and the site began to take on an identity of its own. The site is now known as “Corndodger Station”.
Black Jack Creek Muzzleloading holds the lease to the site and in conjunction with Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders Inc. they have developed it into something special. Their goal was simple, create the nicest muzzleloading facility in the Midwest while maintaining a period correct atmosphere. It is also the venue of the 2018 High Plains Regional Rendezvous.
Corndodger Station Range is the same site as the 2003 and 2018 High Plains Regional Rendezvous.
