Circle of Nations Indigenous Association Powwow Committee
The Circle of Nations Indigenous Association Powwow Committee organizes and runs the annual CNIA Powwow. The Circle of Nations Indigenous Association depends on university, local, and tribal support for the yearly event. The Circle of Nations Indigenous Association provides a culturally sensitive support network for both Native and non-Native students on campus and to promote, support, and celebrate the Native American Heritage through cultural and social programming. The CNIA works to foster cooperation and understanding with members, the campus, and local community in any effort to correct misrepresentations of Native American culture and/or tradition.
