Finding events and planning a trip using The History List

The History List is an ever-growing list of historic sites, organizations, and events of all types across the country.  Started in the Boston area in 2012, today organizations ranging from storied institutions such as the Freedom Trail Foundation and Colonial Williamsburg to house museums and historic sites in small communities you may have never known to visit list their organizations, sites, and events.  

With The History List, you can browse and search a list of events, whether you're looking for something interesting to do in your community or for a weekend trip, or are planning a trip across the country.  The History List doesn't just tell you where to go, but why and when to go.

If you are a member of or fan of a historic site or history-related organization that you don't see listed, you can add it. Sign in now using Facebook or request a free account on The History List. Then add your organization and events.  Someone from the organization or another individual can later add or edit what you enter, so you don't have to feel that yours will be the only information ever listed or that it has to be exhaustive.  There is no cost to list history-related organizations and events.  Get started now, or read the many ways The History List has been designed to meet the needs of history organizations.
