Viewing Vizcaya - Silent Film Series

    Improve listing Presented by

While Vizcaya is known as a magnificent structure of European inspiration, it also served as a place of leisure, enjoyment and relaxation for its owner, James Deering, who frequently hosted events for his friends and family.

Meet up at Vizcaya after work for a mid-week retreat with cocktails and cinema. Mingle, relax and have a drink. Then, experience firsthand what it might have been like to be one of Deering’s guests and enjoy a historic silent film in the Courtyard of the Main House. We’ll even supply live musical accompaniment on Vizcaya's custom-made pipe organ pipe organ!

Cyrano de Bergerac (1925)

In a time of ferocious battles and mutinous murder plots, the battle of the heart seems ever more fierce and when a young officer needs help winning over the beautiful Roxanne, Cyrano (with a horribly unattractive nose) helps because it’s the only way he can ever tell Roxanne how he truly feels.

Tickets are $18 and can be purchased onsite only, the evening of the program. Food and drink not included in ticket price. Seating is limited.
