The Marquette Regional History Center presents “The Great Fire Walking Tour.” One of the most significant events in Marquette’s history was the great downtown fire of 1868. On the 146th anniversary of the inferno, join Jim Koski on a walking tour of the affected areas, finding out where (and how) the fire started and how much damage was caused. Plus, you’ll learn how the blaze shaped downtown Marquette as we know it today.
