Part 1: Historic Real Estate Finance,
March 10-14 in Cincinnati, Ohio

Following a successful first round of real estate training workshops, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Development Council are pleased to again offer a unique training opportunity for preservation professionals, advocates, and all those working on historic real estate projects. These high-level, fast-paced, intensive workshops look at the real estate development process including underwriting, appraisals, cash flow, depreciation, passive income/loss, syndication, tax credits, and more. The curriculum is based on the National Development Council’s highly regarded real estate finance modules, but has been specifically tailored to address historic preservation projects.

Who should apply?

Individuals directly involved in historic real estate development as well as those who act as advocates or intermediaries of historic preservation projects involving real estate are encouraged to apply. Participants will be chosen through a competitive application process and are expected to possess either experience in historic preservation or in real estate development. Priority will be given to Preservation Leadership Forum members. As in the past, we hope to offer for scholarships for eligible applicants.
