The Hornbine School Museum is a one room schoolhouse, We are open to the public (free) each June, July, August & September on the 2nd & 4th Sunday between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The school is out in the country, surrounded by stone walls in the same location where it was built! We have no water or public bathrooms. You are welcome to use the outhouse. We have some “Old Fashion” outdoor games for the children to use.

Directions/Transportation/Parking

We ar located at 144 Hornbine Road in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Going SOUTH from intersection of Rte. 44 and Rte. 118 in Rehoboth. Go south on 118 for several miles. Take left onto Spring St. At the end of Spring St., take a left onto Hornbine Road. The School is a white building on the left about a half mile.

Going NORTH from Rte. 6 and the beginning of Rte. 118 in Swansea: Go north for several miles. Take right onto Spring St. At the end of Spring St., take a left onto Hornbine Road. The School is a white building on the left about a half mile.
