Learn how to teach about American labor history at this workshop, led by Karalyn McGrorty-Derstine, HSP’s 2013 Beneficial NHD Teacher Fellow.

Using HSP’s collection from the Knights of Labor, McGrorty-Derstine will show how primary sources can help students analyze and understand change over time and how social disagreement and collaboration have been beneficial to American society. All participants will receive a copy of the Spring 2014 Pennsylvania Legacies: Organized Labor. Refreshments will be served, and Act 48 credit is available.
