Presented as part of our 2022 Watching the Seasons Change Event Series. This project is supported in part by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts & the National Endowment for the Arts.

Hears Crow is a woman of the Eastern Woodlands who lives her life in the tradition of the Nanhigganêuck, the people known today as the Narragansett. She is a Storyteller of Longhouse Tales, told in many traditional ways. Join Hears Crow and Museum of the White Mountains for an afternoon of outdoor songs and storytelling.

This will be an outdoor event except in the case of rain. Plan to meet at the Museum of the White Mountains. Free and open to all. Suitable for all ages.

Hears Crow is also an educator, published poet and is currently completing a Native children’s novel. She is the Vermont State Liason to the NSN, a Youth Storyteller Mentor through the YSST, and a Guest Teacher at the Transformation School of Storytelling. She brings to life these oral traditions wherever the stories lead her. She shares the culture of the Longhouse People through their stories.
