Cheryl Savageau is the author of the memoir, three books of poetry, and a children’s book, Muskrat Will Be Swimming. In this event, Cheryl will read poetry about the Dawnland, including New Hampshire and the White Mountains from her books, Out of the Crazywoods, Dirt Road Home, and Mother/Land, as well as new work. 

Cheryl Savageau has won Fellowships in Poetry from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Massachusetts Artists Fellowship Program, and is a three-time fellow at MacDowell. She is the former editor of Dawnland Voices 2.0.  She currently teaches at the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury College. 

Free and open to all. Presented via Zoom and in person at the Museum of the White Mountains. If you are attending virtually, pre-registration is required.
