Spring Family Fun Day and National Day of Puppetry

Bring the whole family for a day of fun at the Museum! Spring is the season for baby animals, so families can enjoy petting and feeding young animals from Cindy’s Zoo! Inside the museum, families can go on an animal-themed scavenger hunt through the museum’s galleries and take part in lots of hands-on fun along the way. Plus, celebrate the National Day of Puppetry with puppet shows and a puppet-making workshop.
10:00am - 11:00am Feed and pet baby animals from Cindy’s Zoo*
10:00am - 1:00pm Stop by the welcome table at any time to get your scavenger hunt clue sheet. Explore the Seeking St. Louis and 1904 World’s Fair galleries and participate in hands-on activities at your own pace. Explore the trolley and play outdoor games on the Museum’s North Lawn*.
10:30am - 11:00am Puppet Show “Imagination” presented by Tom Bonham Puppet and Marionette Productions
11:00am - 11:30am Puppet-making workshop with Daniel Romano
11:30am - 12:00pm Puppet Show “The Ugly Duckling” presented by Pat Breithaupt’s Salt ’n’ Patter Puppets
