There’s no better way to experience the wonders and natural beauty of the Connecticut! Climb aboard the Schooner Mary E for an afternoon or sunset cruise July through October. Enjoy views of River wildlife and landmarks while gliding through the cool, peaceful waters of the Connecticut. Help hoist a sail or bring a picnic to enjoy while underway. Free admission to the Museum’s exhibit galleries is included with each schooner cruises fare.
ABOUT THE MARY E: The Mary E is a 75-foot gaffe rigged schooner built in 1906. She is one of the last remaining vessels built in Bath, Maine in that time period and has served as a cargo ship, an official United States mail carrier, a sword fishing vessel, a private yacht and an excursion boat. She is a member of the American Sail Training Associations, helping to keep the traditions of the sea alive.
