Salt Prints, Cyanotypes, and More: Women Photographers and Fine Art Processes

    Improve listing Presented by

Join us for an evening with contemporary women photographers and learn about their careers and their passion for fine art processes. Liz Calvi will discuss her work with salt prints and the painterly control she achieves through the process. Pam Rouleau will share her passion for the cyanotype process, which intersects with her professional interest in architectural photography, as cyanotypes were the original blueprints used by architects. Donna Callighan will explain how her work explores a new fine art technique of shooting through a sheet of special glass, and how the technique inspires her to represent environmental issues in her photography. This program marks the final month of our temporary exhibit, Through a Different Lens: Three Connecticut Women Photographers.
