Public Living History Day Spring 2020

Visitors learn about textile production in the cabin at Red Hill on a Public Living History Day. Guests are invited to try weaving on the loom and spinning at the spinning wheels.

Join us for a Living History Day for the general public! Young and old alike can participate in the hands-on experience of 18th century life. Programs will rotate among spinning and weaving, blacksmithing, pottery, Colonial medicine, flax to linen, and other activities. Also included will be a tour of the historic buildings, our museum, and Patrick Henry’s gravesite. 

We recommend registering in advance. Everyone is welcome!

$5 per person over the age of 4, $20 per family.
