Praying Town,a documentary film by Zadi Zokou, tells the story of the 14 villages of "Praying Indians" established in 17th-century New England by the Rev. John Eliot. The second half of the film highlights the legacy of the area's early Native Americans through the Civil War era.
The 90-minute documentary will be presented at the South Acton Congregational Church by the Iron Work Farm in Acton, stewards of the 1732 Jones Tavern and the 1707 Faulkner Homestead.
