PIoneers of Harvard House Tour

    Improve listing Presented by

The 2015 Historical Society House Tour celebrates some of the oldest homes in town, whose residents were influential "pioneers". Each house represents the era in which it was built and also the changes various homeowners made through the years. Visitors will learn of the rich history of each house and will also meet one of the home's most prominent inhabitants. These pioneers will relate highlights of their lives and talk about Harvard in the "good ole days." Tickets on sale. Save $10 by ordering now using this form [PDF].

The Pioneers of Harvard House Tour is from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM Saturday, October 24th and includes eight homes of outstanding people who shaped Harvard’s history. Early ticket pickup is available Monday, October 19th, 7:00-9:00 PM at the Harvard Historical Society, 215 Still River Road, Harvard. On the day of the tour, ticket sales and pickup will begin at 9:00 AM at the Congregational Church of Harvard located at 5 Still River Road. Because of very limited parking, please park at the Bromfield School, 14 Mass Ave for ticket pickup and town center homes that are on the tour. The other homes will have their own designated parking.

The tour is self-guided; you may tour the houses in any order you wish. Your ticket is the Program Booklet which includes a general map and a history of each house. Each house will have interpreters to talk about the highlights of the home. You must show the Program Booklet at every house for admittance. A wine reception at the Harvard Historical Society, 215 Still River Road will follow the tour.
