“Peoria Hosts: Famous Guests in the River City” features 6 famous people who played in Peoria in the past 200 years. The Peoria Historical Society’s 80th Anniversary event will chronicle historical entertainment through snippets of speeches, costumes, dancing and more. Portrayals: John Parks, Jr. as Abraham Lincoln, Eric Turner as Frederick Douglass, Mark Johnson as Theodore Roosevelt, Charles Brown as Col. Charles Lindbergh, Tim Wyman as Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Cheri Beever as Lady Bird Johnson.

Boutique will feature vintage jewelry, books, fiber art, women’s fine clothing, home décor, children’s items, handcrafted ceramics, books and much more.

Location: Peoria Civic Center Ballroom in downtown Peoria on April 12, 2014.

Boutique opens at 10:00 am. Luncheon and Entertainment start at 11:30 am.
