Private Paranormal Tour of the Paoli Battlefield

Join us on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm as Laurie Hull and her team from Tri-County Paranormal lead us on a paranormal investigation of the Paoli Battlefield. This is a private tour and the Paoli Battlefield Historical Park will be CLOSED during the tour to all visitors.

Food, drink, and bathroom facilities will be provided at the battlefield. Please bring along bug spray, flashlights, recorders, cameras, and dress properly for the season. We will begin in the sun and end in the dark so please make sure that you bring warm clothing.

We have discovered over the years many different “hot spots” of activity located along the trail and in other areas around the battlefield of the 9th deadliest battle of the Revolutionary War.

This battle was a midnight bayonet and sword attack by the British as they swept across the camp of Anthony Wayne in three waves that sent his continental troops off in a panic. Many witness describe the attack and atrocities committed there by the British.

52 soldiers from this battle are buried in a mass grave and there is one that is buried somewhere else in the battlefield. Wayne’s troops were so incensed at the British atrocities that the coined one of our nations first battle cry “Remember Paoli”.

We invite you to take photographs and bring other equipment to the battlefield for this tour and we encourage you to share your photos or recordings with Laurie as she will use them in her presentation on February 8th, 2016 at the General Warren Inne. Exit Route 202 at PA Route 29 South (Great Valley/Malvern Exit). Follow Rt. 29 South one mile until it dead-ends at US Route 30 (Lancaster Pike). Turn Left on Rt. 30 and get into right-hand lane. Go underneath the Railroad overpass and make the first right-hand turn at the traffic light to “Old Lincoln Hwy”. Follow “Old Lincoln Hwy” up the hill to Bridge St. (at stop sign). Turn right on Bridge St. until it dead-ends at King Rd. Turn right on King Rd. until the traffic light. Turn left on S. Warren Ave. for two blocks. Turn right on Monument Ave. and continue until you reach the Paoli Memorial Grounds on the left side. You can park at the top of the ring road. The Paoli Battlefield Historical Park is to the east of the monuments.
