PA Museums Conference 2014

The PA Museums Annual Statewide Conference will be held in Pittsburgh on April 6, 7 and 8, and will be hosted by the
Senator John Heinz History Center. Our theme for 2014 is Confluence of the Past and the Future.  We invite you to join us as we share best practices in areas including advocacy, economic and community development, education, and cultural
tourism. Pennsylvania’s cultural community is rich and diverse. Museums, galleries, zoos, science centers, visitor centers, historic sites, monuments, parks, libraries, archives, and educational institutions contribute to a new economy of ideas in the Commonwealth connecting our past with future generations.

The PA Museums Annual Conference offers museum professionals an interactive forum to exchange ideas, network and discuss trends in the museum field. The event is an excellent opportunity for professionals to reconnect and recharge as well as learn from colleagues.  The conference is also ideal for businesses to raise their visibility by engaging with and showing support for Pennsylvania’s museum community.  Attendees include directors, curators, registrars, educators and exhibit designers.
