A Walk Into History public walking tour is a great way to experience the Freedom Trail. Led by an 18th Century Costumed Guide, the 90-minute tour mixes humor, history and fun.

Tours departing from the Boston Common Visitor Information Center end at Faneuil Hall. Tours are available every day through March at 12 noon and 1 P.M. Tickets are available on location or at our website.

Directions/Transportation/Parking

The Boston Common Visitor Center is located on the Tremont St. side of Boston Common.

Parking is available for a fee at the Boston Common Parking Garage, located under Boston Common. It's entrance is on the Charles St. side of Boston Common.

The Freedom Trail is easily accessible via public transportation. Get of the T as either Boylston St. (Green Line), or Park St. (Green and Red lines). The Boston Common is also a very short walk from Chinatown (Orange Line) and Downtown Crossing (Orange and Red lines).
