Save the Date! Join us for the first annual Nebraska Preservation Conference June 14 in Omaha

 Nebraska Preservation Conference

Building Community: Preservation is Place-making is Nebraska’s first statewide historic preservation conference.

Join us Friday, June 14, 2013, on the Fort Omaha Campus at Metropolitan Community College!

Preservation is all about place. Historic places help us define the character of our communities. Our conference theme will explore the relationship between place and memory and the way we can build stronger communities with the places of our past.

Network with people who recognize the importance of historic preservation in a community setting the evening of June 13 at our pre-conference reception. Then learn how historic preservation can give you the tools to discover, retain, and enhance your community’s sense of place all day June 14 at our conference!

We are offering a total of 6 hours of APA/AICP CRM for planners and 8 hours of AIA/CES credits for architects. We’ll have sign-in sheets at each of our sessions to keep track of who will be receiving credit for attendance.
