National Park Ranger Program to Host Program on Asa Waters, Armory Village, and Building a Nation

On Thursday, July 12, 2012 National Park Service Ranger Chuck Arning will host a program focusing on early American musket maker Asa Waters, Waters Armory and the War of 1812. Includes a brief walking tour of Armory Village; meet at the Asa Waters Mansion at 6:30 p.m. The program will be followed by light refreshments courtesy of the Friends of the Asa Waters Mansion. This event is free and open to the public. Will be of interest to teens and up. The Mansion is wheelchair accessible, the brief "walkabout" is on public sidewalks and streets.
