February  is a month for remembering the contributions of those who have gone out of their way to shape the nation we live in today. In February we honor the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln, Susan B. Anthony, and George Washinton. It is also Black History Month, for which we remember those men and women who helped pave the way in securing justice and equality for all. Feb. 22nd the Historical Society will offer a dinner performance with two presidents who were crucial to this process and the developement of our democracy: Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. 6pm: Social Hour (cash bar)     7pm Dinner        8pm Town Hall-style presentation with Jefferson and Lincoln. In this presentation, Jefferson and Lincoln will discuss issues that they feel are important, like the role of race in the country and national defense. Then they will raise your voice and ask questions of your own.
