Linden Place Mansion Annual Meeting Featuring Rhode Island Slave History Medallion Founder and Director, Charles Roberts

All are welcome to attend Linden Place Mansion’s annual meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, November 18 at 7pm. The meeting includes a recap of 2020 at the 200-year old museum, election of new board members, volunteer award and a special speaking program by historian, Charles Roberts, of the Rhode Island Slave History Medallion Project.

The Rhode Island Slave History Medallion Project works to increase public awareness of the state’s slave history and is dedicated to marking and honoring historic sites connected to the history of slavery in Rhode Island. Roberts will talk about the inception of the project and how it has grown state-wide, including a future marker at Linden Place to be installed on Juneteenth, 2021.
